Sushi Experience(3h)

This class is an introduction to making delicious sushi plate that you can recreate at home to forever impress your dinner guests. You will learn all the essential techniques for homestyle sushi making. 

 

Talking you through about Sushi and the Rice preparation, showing how to turn the rice into perfect Sushi-rice. Followed by hands-on cooking experience - preparing sushi ingredients such as 'TAMAGOYAKI - Japanese egg omelet', and rolling 'MAKI-SUSHI' and forming 'TEMARI-SUSHI'. You will receive many tips for creating 'Sushi in varieties' in the end!

                                                                                                                           

Once the cooking is complete, enjoy your sushi-plate in the dining room or the back garden,  with a choice of Japanese Sake or beer and tea served with Japanese sweets for dessert.

-A complimentary glass of SAKE form the region, or Japanese beer along with Japanese tea and seasonal 'WAGASHI' sweets

Veggie Sushi Experience (3h)

Explore the unique experience of "Veggie Sushi Making at Home" for delicious Veggie-Sushi-Plate.

 

Sharing simple techniques for the fundamental of Sushi making at home, we will begin with cooking rice and showing how to  turn into perfect Sushi-Rice to preparing Vegetable Sushi ingredients 'NETA',  followed by hands-on cooking experience - everyone will get to work on forming 'NIGIRI' and 'GUNKAN' Sushi to look like Fishy-Sushi plate. 

 

 

Once the cooking is complete, enjoy your sushi-plate in the dining room or the back garden,  with a choice of Japanese Sake or beer and tea served with Japanese sweets for dessert.

Crispy Tempura Experience(3h)

Explore one of the most popular Japanese dish 'TEMPURA', and the 'DASHI' -  the heart of Japanese cuisines - an incredibly versatile broth serve as a base or seasonings in many Japanese recipes. 

 

This class covers the basic of  Japanese cuisine. We will begin with Japanese short-grain rice to cook in a 'DONABE', and make 'DASHI' in an authentic way and turn into both delicious soup and sauce for Tempura.

You will also have a  tasting time of 'DASHI' in varieties, enjoy the comparison of shaved bonito to easy powdered dashi.

 

Then, we will work on 'TEMPURA', how to prepare the ingredients and deep-fry in batter using simple tricks to enjoy crisp-tasty!

 

 

Once the cooking is complete, enjoy your Tempura meal in the dining room or the back garden,  with a choice of Japanese Sake or beer and tea served with Japanese sweets for dessert.

Fluffy Okonomiyaki Experience(2h)

Explore Japanese favorite comfort food - 'OKONOMIYAKI', it's a savory pancake made with cabbage, scallions, egg, flour and various toppings like meat, seafood or whatever you like to top! It's easy fun cooking and delicious!

 

Sharing an Osaka-style OKONOMIYAKI recipe with the great simple tips, starting with the cabbage cuttings, how to mix the ingredients, and how to grill on a skillet and all the fun part to enjoy your Okonomiyaki at home! 

 

 

 

Once the cooking is complete, enjoy your Okonomiyaki in the dining room or the back garden,  with a choice of Japanese Sake or beer and tea served with Japanese sweets for dessert.
